Acer Malaysia has announced the arrival of the new Predator Helios 18 AI, which was first shown off at COMPUTEX 2026, that packs the latest and greatest hardware for premium gaming on the fly.
It has a 120Hz, 18-inch WQUXGA (3840 x 2400) Mini LED display with full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage to provide both color accuracy for creators and the responsiveness expected by competitive gamers, with the computing hardware being an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 / RTX 5080 Laptop GPU that matches with a 1TB SSD (expandable up to 6TB) out of the box. RAM-wise, the RTX 5090 model gets 48GB DDR5 while the RTX 5080 SKU gets 36GB DDR5 instead.
The 6th-gen AeroBlade 3D fans with 0.05mm metal blades continue to be the main thermal highlight that pushes out all the heat within the chassis, while the vector heat pipes and liquid metal thermal grease further improve cooling efficiency during sustained heavy loads.
Now, the latest playing field Predator is going for is the auditory space with Predator Vox – The brand’s proprietary six-speaker audio system designed to improve spatial positioning, clarity, and immersion without requiring external speakers. Completing the premium package are customizable RGB lighting zones across the lid logo, MilkyWay light bar, InfiniteRing accents, and per-key RGB keyboard, alongside Predator MagKey 4.0 magnetic mechanical switches that emulate the feel of mechanical keyboards while delivering faster actuation.
Connectivity includes Killer DoubleShot Pro networking with Wi-Fi 7 and 5Gb Ethernet, while dual Thunderbolt 5 ports provide high-bandwidth connectivity for external displays, storage, and other high-performance peripherals.
Meanwhile, there’s the Acer PM191Q E IPS portable monitor coming in at 18.5-inch, delivering up to 100Hz refresh rate, 178-degree viewing angles, integrated speakers, USB-C connectivity for both power and display, and weighs just 1.13kg. A built-in kickstand and VESA mount compatibility make it suitable for mobile workstations and multi-display setups.
To accompany the portable monitor, the AH101 stand is available to give tilt, swivel, and height adjustments with support for both 75 x 75mm and 100 x 100mm VESA mounting standards, as well as a standard 1/4-inch mounting thread for compatible accessories.
