By: John Diew

Just when you thought that NVIDIA is gonna take a break after releasing the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, no, you're wrong. NVIDIA just officially introduced the most powerful Pascal-powered graphics card - the NVIDIA TITAN Xp.

Compared to its predecessor, the TITAN X, the new TITAN Xp has more cores, faster clocks, faster memory and more TFLOPS.

CUDA cores and clock speed:
  • TITAN Xp - 3,840 CUDA cores @ ? GHz, boost 1.582 GHz
  • GTX 1080 Ti - 3584 CUDA cores @ 1.48 GHz, boost 1.582 GHz
  • TITAN X Pascal - 3584 CUDA cores @ 1.417 GHz, boost 1.531 GHz
Memory:
  • TITAN Xp - 12 GB GDDR5X @ 11.4 Gbps
  • GTX 1080 Ti - 11 GB GDDR5X @ 11 Gbps
  • TITAN X Pascal - 12 GB GDDR5 @ 10 Gbps

Floating point performance:
  • TITAN Xp - 12 TFLOPs
  • GTX 1080 Ti - 10.5 TFLOPs
  • TITAN X Pascal - 10.1 TFLOPs
Easily, the TITAN Xp is the fastest GPU you can buy right now at US$ 1,200, and which should be around the RM 6,000++ mark when (if)  it reaches Malaysia.
