Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2016 Highlights #1

By: Low Chern Lin

It's been quite a while since the Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2016 kicked off and modders around the globe are giving their very best effort to create the best-looking mod that will win them not only cash and prizes but also the glory that every modder can dream of.

Modders can choose to participate between 2 different category, Tower Mod and Scratch Build. We'll be highlighting the Tower Mod this time and here're some of the notable mentions from the list of Tower Mod submission:

Project Biohazard by Alex Snopek

Build Highlight

The first mention is the Project Biohazard by Alex Snopek from Poland, who has been a veteran in case mod for the past 10 years. Alex gave the Project Biohazard a touch of the beauty of the post-apocalyptic world with a lot of rust and that industrial like environment - something you can tell from the pipes and rusty toxic liquid. Alex also included a custom LCD screen on the side of the case that really adds up the vibe, as well as a pair of ASUS Strix gaming gear Strix Tactic Pro and Strix Claw in the same color scheme.

H.A.F Reborn by neSSa

Build Highlight

The second mention is the H.A.F Reborn by neSSa from SS PC Modding, the experts in bench tables and project based builds. neSSa mentioned that he's very emotionally attached to the Cooler Master HAF 932 and hence, gave birth to the H.A.F Reborn mod. The H.A.F Reborn mod gave the HAF 932 a new breath of life, just like the legendary Pheonix that rises from the ashes and it's one of the best looking Tower Mod we've seen so far.

There's still quite a number of mods that is still in progress, but here's some sneak peak of the mods that we're looking forward to seeing its finish product:

Gigantea by David Cathey. We're totally unsure what will the finishing product look like, but from the looks of it... This is definitely a beast.

Fire And Blood by Gustavo Carvalho. The curves and layers totally reminded us of the badass Daedric armor from the game title The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Can't wait to see how will it looks like when it's done!

Porsche 917 Le Mans Tribute by MonsterMawd. The mod is based on the all time classic of Porshe's, the race car that gave Porsche its first overall wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans back in the year 1970 and 1971. Will it bring the same glory for MomsterMawd in this category? Stay tuned for the end product!

LaFerrari by Mubashar Aftab, a mod that makes its first appearance during the Cyberfusion 2015 in Malaysia and still continue to evolve until this very day. The mod is based on the renown racing car Ferrari and you can pretty much recognize the prancing horse logo and the high quality paint job done with the same Ferrari Red.

Back to nature - Ivy by MegaSkot. This is a very unique mod that is made to look like as if it's totally made out of wood. The components is yet to be installed to this beautifully painted case but we're sure that MegaSkot has more surprise for everyone in the upcoming update on the worklog.

The mentioned Tower Mods above is only a part of the list of submission and just in case if you're interested to find out more on the other mods that's not mentioned above, kindly visit the Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2016 forum:
